Paris Ottey
Author • Speaker • Mother • Survivor • Storyteller
Hi, I’m Paris Ottey, author, speaker, mother, survivor, and storyteller. My writing journey began with truth, the truth I spent years afraid to face.
At just 17 years old, I lost my 21-year-old sister to murder. For years, I carried trauma, anger, and silence. Eventually, I realized that holding onto pain was holding me hostage. So I did the unthinkable:
I sat in a room with my sister’s killer.
Not for revenge but for closure, peace, and emotional freedom.
My book, Tales of a Caribbean Girl: The Conversation with My Sister’s Killer, is the first of a sequel series that will document my life as I grow as a woman and an author. My life has been a golden spoon full of diamonds and trauma, and I believe every chapter deserves to be told.
My intention is to create a reading experience that will give an escape through stories, I plan to tell more stories, fiction and non fiction, based on True Crime and Romance.
When I’m not writing, I work in the Caribbean music industry with Showtime Services Group, an artist booking, management, and production agency. We take pride in connecting the Caribbean one artist and one country at a time while delivering professional, world-class experiences to our clients.
My mission is simple:
- Break silence.
- Break cycles.
- Turn pain into purpose.
Because healing is not about forgetting what happened, it’s about taking your power back.
